Treating the root cause of imbalance

In a world consumed by rush and disconnection, this space invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and realign with what truly matters: your health, your essence, your community and the natural rhythms that sustain us.

Wholesome with Mandy was created to inspire a mindful, slower way of living through holistic healing and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. With curated high-quality oil blends and mentorships, I empower individuals to cultivate balance within, reconnect with nature, and nurture body, mind, and spirit to prevent and reverse dis-ease.

Because when we nourish ourselves, we create ripples of balance that extend far beyond us, shaping a more harmonious world.

An Invitation to Wholeness

This is an invitation to reconnect, with yourself, with nature, and with the life force energy that flows through us all. Whether through my mentorship program or the small rituals inspired by my blends, the journey toward wholeness begins here.

At the heart of Ayurveda lies prana, the life force energy that flows through us and connects us to everything around us. It’s in the food we eat, the thoughts we hold, and the impressions we take in, every aspect of life carries a vibration. By nurturing our prana, we align with the rhythms of nature and create harmony within ourselves.

Through my work, I combine the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with the modern understanding of vibrational healing to guide you toward balance and vitality. I’ve partnered with family-owned suppliers in Portugal and France to source organic, ethically harvested ingredients for my oil blends. Each bottle is filled with love and care, high vibrations, hand-blended in small batches, infused with the Ayurvedic principles and a deep intention to heal.

Founder’s words

My journey into holistic health began long before I even realised it. When I was younger, I faced hormonal imbalances, low energy, digestive issues, and severe acne; challenges that pushed me toward natural healing. Inspired by my grandmother, who was deeply immersed in naturopathy and natural practices, the seeds of this path were planted early on.

Now, this journey through wellbeing and spirituality spans over a decade. I began my deep dive into these healing arts in the lands (and waters) of Indonesia in 2013, and continued my path through New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and California, refining my skills under the guidance of renowned teachers.

I found deep shifts through yoga and surfing in Bali, while studying sustainable tourism and events on the island. (On a side note, it was during this time that my fascination for world history deepened through my research on UNESCO World Heritage). Then living in New Zealand and Australia for over a year, I started to piece it all together. Pure living, organic foods, and a deep connection to our spirit and nature showed me what it meant to truly thrive. I realised that this, living in harmony with the earth and myself, was the essence of life!

Returning to Amsterdam in 2016, the contrast of corporate life became overwhelming. After burning out by 2019, I turned to my foundations: yoga and surf. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Indonesia with Angela Perez, Tomer Weiss, and Sean Goldberg, diving into Hatha, Vinyasa, Pranayama, and foundations of Ayurveda. Having already dedicated eight years to Ayurvedic self-study and practicing on myself, I wanted to seal my dedication to this path with an Ayurveda Health Advisory Training under Myra Lewin at Hale Pule, born in Hawaii, now based in Bali.

Parallel to this, I spent years as an Executive Producer in the creative industry, guiding designers and composers in producing sound and music used in film and advertising for global brands like Adidas, Nike, Samsung, and Booking.com. This highlighted the importance of frequencies and vibrations and their effects on the human brain and emotions. A truth that now underpins everything I create. Somewhere along the way, I also launched a yoga studio with holistic therapies, embracing my “Libran” inability to choose just one thing!

And now I’m here…on a slower path of mindful living.

Surfing has become my teacher, offering lessons in resilience, flow, and surrender. It reminds me that life’s waves will rise and fall, but it’s in how we ride them that we find our strength.

I believe I’m here to bring balance. Not to chase perfection, but to show that it’s okay to dance in the rain and surf the waves of existence.

With Love,

Mandy
