The Science of Frequency: A Path to Wholeness

Einstein's theory on energy

Over 10 years of exploring and living the practices of Ayurveda and Yoga around the world, combined with my background in the sound and music industry, all bring me back to one undeniable truth: the power of frequency. It’s in the vibrations that shape our world, the energy, or prana, that flows through our bodies, our thoughts and everything around us. It’s like tuning in to the radio station of your soul.

For the science-minded and skeptics among us, no worries! I’ll share insights from Einstein and Dr. Hawkins, along with tangible research, later in my writing. For now, imagine walking into a room where someone is radiating joy. Suddenly, you feel a bit lighter, maybe even find yourself smiling. Or consider the opposite: entering a tense space and feeling your shoulders tighten or mood shift. This energy exchange isn't merely perception; it's vibrational resonance, a concept at the heart of ancient healing practices and emerging frequency-based therapies.

In today’s fast-paced world, we’re constantly bombarded with unseen forces that impact our physical and mental well-being. From EMF’s to digital noise, we unknowingly immerse in a sea of energy that isn’t always in harmony with our natural state. But there is a way to tune into a deeper, more nourishing force. One that has been used in ancient practices and modern science alike. It’s the energy of Prana, the subtle essence of life itself, interwoven with the concept of frequency and energy, shaping how we feel, think, and heal.

What is Prana?

Prana, often translated as “life force” or “vital energy,” is the subtle energy that animates all living things. According to Ayurveda, it flows within us and around us, feeding our cells and connecting us to everything in the natural world, uniting body, mind, and spirit. When our Prana is balanced, we feel vibrant, calm, and aligned. When it’s disrupted, we may experience mental, emotional and physical ailments. It’s through cultivating this Prana that we can restore a sense of equilibrium in our lives.

Frequency: The Language of Energy

In Ayurvedic teachings, as well as in Reiki and Yoga, energy flows through channels known as srotamsi in the physical body, and nadis in the subtle body. Channels like the sushumna, ida, and pingala act as conduits for Prana. These channels are delicate pathways that allow the life force to circulate, nourish, and heal.

In many ways, Prana resonates at specific frequencies, or measurable vibrations that science is beginning to understand. Each of us has a unique energy frequency, shaped by our thoughts, emotions, and environment. Albert Einstein once said, "Everything in life is energy; match the frequency you want…” and his famous equation, E = mc², reveals the profound connection between matter and energy. This equation states that energy (E) is equal to mass (m) multiplied by the speed of light (c) squared. I actually found that sound came before light…but that’s worth another writing! Anyways…, as we dive deeper into his legacy, we uncover how this simple truth holds the key to a new frontier of healing. One that transcends traditional medicine and taps into the medicine of vibration.

Our emotions are energy in motion, radiating specific frequencies that influence not only our well-being but also that of those around us. Dr. David Hawkins, a pioneer in studying consciousness and energy fields, proposed that emotions have measurable frequencies that affect both personal and collective health. In his research, Hawkins quantified emotional states on a vibrational scale, known as the “Map of Consciousness,” which shows emotions like love and joy emitting high frequencies that uplift, while anger and shame vibrate lower, often depleting both body and mind.

Understanding (Bio)frequency: How Energy Impacts Our Health

Biofrequency, in essence, is the measurable energy surrounding us. When our body is in a healthy, balanced state, it typically vibrates between 62-78 MHz. However, when we experience stress, illness, or negative emotions, this frequency can drop. In fact, studies reveal that negative thoughts can lower our frequency by as much as 12 MHz, while positive thoughts can boost it by around 10 MHz.

Hawkins’ research revealed that our personal energy doesn’t stop with us; it influences others in subtle but profound ways. Each interaction is a play of frequencies, where we absorb, reflect, or adjust based on the vibrations present. When we emit love, gratitude, or compassion, our frequency can elevate others—even when words aren’t spoken. Thus, when we surround ourselves with high-vibrational states or people, we are more resilient, often finding greater balance and strength.

In contrast, low frequencies then dampen our energy field, which might explain why certain interactions or environments feel draining indeed. But it also highlights the transformative power of consciously cultivating higher frequencies through intentional practices like meditation, breathwork, and even essential oils, all tools that align with higher emotional states.

Essential Oils: Nature’s High-Frequency Elixirs

Just like these theories, essential oils operate on the principle of energy and vibration. These concentrated essences seem to carry some of the highest frequencies found in nature, with values ranging from 52 MHz to over 580 MHz. The gentle essence of rose oil vibrates at 320 MHz, while Idaho Blue Spruce holds an astonishing 580 MHz. These high frequencies make essential oils and aromatherapy powerful allies for restoring balance within us, both physically and emotionally.

When you inhale an essential oil, its aromatic molecules travel directly to the limbic system—the part of the brain responsible for emotions. This interaction releases neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, helping regulate your mood, ease stress, and promote emotional balance. In Ayurvedic practice and energy healing, we believe that these oils can also clear energy channels (nadis), working directly with our life force (prana).

As frequency-based therapies gain traction, we’re seeing an integration of sound healing, reiki, essential oils, IEP and vocal therapy into health practices, mirroring what many ancient traditions have known for centuries.

Reclaim Your Prana: Bringing High Frequency Into Your Life

Ayurveda offers simple yet profound practices to restore your energy flow. Through daily habits like mindful eating, prana filled food, conscious breathing, and energy-supporting oils, you can nurture your pranic system and keep that pure energy going.

You don’t have to be a scientist to bring the healing power of frequency into your life. Here’s how you can start:

  1. Mindful Practices: Incorporate daily affirmations or meditation, as positive thoughts can raise your biofrequency. Visualize your energy expanding and filling your surroundings.

  2. Essential Oils Ritual: Add high-frequency essential oils like Patchouli, Frankincense, or Clary Sage into your self-care routine. For example, a couple of drops in a diffuser or as a diluted blend can create an uplifting atmosphere and boost your energy field.

  3. Nature Connection: Spend time in nature as often as possible. Being near trees, water, or even a simple garden has grounding properties that raise our natural vibration.

  4. Daily Detox: Stress and toxins from food or the environment can weigh down our frequency. Consider practices like gentle yoga, mindful breathing, or using grounding oils to release this stagnant energy.

My handcrafted essential oil blends are specifically designed to support your prana and frequency levels. Whether you need to calm your nervous system or lift your energy, these blends work in synergy with your body to clear energetic blockages and restore balance.
